XanGo Day…
With their lone day of work between the Florida and South Carolina legs of the preseason, the team took to the training field at XanGo headquarters in Lehi this afternoon. It was a good, intense training session that, with the tighter group that has spent another two weeks together, was recognizably sharper than the previous sessions here in Utah this preseason.
The guys looked good and it was certainly nice to see a nearly healthy group out there - only Tino Nunez (knee surgery) and Kyle Reynish (strained quad) didn’t participate in the action, instead working out on the side with trainers. Even RSL’s newest member, Ned Grabavoy, was in attendance, having flown to Salt Lake from San Jose early this morning. He seemed to fit right in and brought noticeable quality to the day’s session.
Check out some photos from the day’s action below (special thanks to Chris Nicoll for shooting these over our way)…

I know we’re always bothering you for more, but is it possible to caption these photos (just to identify the players)?
Specifically, who is #2?
Yeah - i still have no idea who Escalada is?
Im pretty sure that that is Ned Grabavoy and its #20
I’m guessing that #2 in the middle photo is Grabavoy. But some captions would definitely be nice.
i think escalada is the one behind beckerman but i could be wrong?
Sorry to confuse everyone. We threw this post up in a hurry and didn’t caption the photos - we certainly should have. They’re now complete with short captions that identify the players…
Where is the pitch in Lehi and is public allowed to watch?
Cheers, HQ!
I guess I had no idea what Grabavoy looked like.
Re: C
The field is close to Thanksgiving point. It’s called the Xango field and it is just south of the Xango building.
It has always been open to the public. The do close the practice sometimes, but the few times I have been it’s been ok. We weren’t really sure what to do, so we just stood around by the fence and watched.
