is it Michael or Joe Zewe
O snap! Thanks for the link!
You’re correct ajr… it is indeed Joe Zewe. A Pennsylvania native and Penn State grad who last played in the Faroe Islands, Zewe also spent two seasons in Denmark playing for B1909 Odense and Viborg FF, the latter alongside RSL’s own Robbie Russell.
Its great to rely on other MLS teams to provide RSL fans with some actual live coverage.
thanks you
So…if not for Toronto FC we would not be seeing this? i’m happy for the coverage, but slightly disappointed that RSL doesn’t have the ability to handle this themselves. RSL is behind the times.
what’s up with the beef between Olave and Johnson? Fill us in.
I don’t think it is a technology issue, TFC appears to have a different deal worked with MLS as far as rights broadcast rights of their matches. But RSL appears to be in the same boat as DC United and most other US based MLS teams.
Would we like to see RSL be able to offer that type of coverage, yes. I think that getting an offical blog is a good first step. I for one am happy that TFC let us use their feed and that Trey was willing to jump in and provide play by play coverage. Trying to do audio for a match is tough work and doing it by yourself is even tougher.
Here is hoping that RSL finds the funding and engery to transform their online offering to one that other teams in the league will be jealous of.
Why is Williams wearing a No. 10 Jersey? Isn’t that jersey No. already occupied by Robbie Findley?
