Goal of the Week?
Maybe (get on over and make it happen right here)… Take the celebration into consideration though, and Clint wins, hands down! How often do you see a goal celebration that includes both spontaneous and well-thought elements? Well that’s what you got on Saturday night when Clint put the nail in TFC’s proverbial coffin with his 78th minute blast. The replays floating around the net so far don’t show it very well, but take a peek at the angle we got below. First Clint snags a flying streamer out of midair and incorporates it into his sprint to the corner, and then, after being mugged by teammates, pushes everyone aside and does a very impressive moonwalk in tribute to the late King of Pop. Check it out…

Nice finish Cleetus. I’m not your fan by any stretch, but that was a clinical finish. I even voted for you because that was a rocket. However, next time get your free kick over, under or around the wall- not at knee height, awful.
Also, could you teach Yura some of that finshing quality? He could be unstoppable…
VERY IMPRESSIVE haha, and he is wearing cleats! hahaha loved it im glad you found this video, I was dissapointed they didnt get that on TV.
Nice goal and celebration. I missed the moon walk at the game, must have been too busy giving high 5′s. Cleetus, I am your fan by any stretch.
Credit for the moonwalk should head Andy William’s way. Andy mentioned doing it on Twitter before the game, then it seems he made Mathis do the tribute instead. Just a bit of random info that I’m sort of ashamed I know.
One more thing, it is a farce that the MLS keeps piling on assists for players who made the pass that made the pass that scored the goal ( ie Beckerman’s goal came from Morales doing all the work, but Cleetus gave Javi the pass 7-8 touches before that and he also got an assist). Really? Really? This is a trend in the league, I can only assume MLS wants to make up stats to appease us dumb American fans that ALLEGEDLY are only satisfied with big numbers- so now they are making up stats. So dumb. If MLS wants international respect, they need to stop with stunts like this…
