One point gained. Two points lost. If only Nick was 8 inches taller he would have stopped the goal. If only we had a taller keeper. Oops we do. To bad. Please trade Seitz to a team that wants to play him.
good point.
Seitz, we aren’t trading you. Sorry.
Yeah if only he was taller. I mean I know Seitz is good he does not react nearly as fast as Nick, and for that They might have had 2 other shot hit the net. But once again it is the keepers fault the player made his way through our back 4.
Re: BriandDunsethTalksTooMuch…
I LOVE YOUR NAME!!!! ha ha ha ha ha. He is possibly the worst commentator I have ever heard. Its not the tactical stuff, i find that he is very smart and sees the game very well there. Its the fact that he will NEVER give the benefit of the doubt to RSL or any RSL player. He seems to have something negative to say about RSL (a player, coach, etc) every 5-10 minutes. I get that you dont want to sound biased, but come on dunny, its like you are trying to sound like you favor the opposition more. I get that you are just using RSL as a stepping stone, but give at least a little respect for the team that signs your paychecks
Did you guys even see the goal? Cause Nick’s height didn’t have anything to do with him stopping the shot. It was a pretty low shot and he barely missed. I’m not defending the team’s effort by all means, it was a pretty terrible game, but it definitely wasn’t Nick’s fault that one got through. Nick has done amazing since he came back from injuring his hand. I like Seitz, but his GAA isn’t as good as Rimando’s. Just sayin….
Yeah and if only Seitz was savvy enough to hold the damn ball instead of kicking it away after 1 second against the Galaxy… we would have gained two more points….
After all of the saves Rimando has given RSL you discredit them because of a one v one goal? You are going to guarantee me Seitz would have made that save? His brain cells fire as fast as he moves… MOLASSES
Rimando has saved MANY games…. in fact I think it’s safe to say he is as responsible for almost as many of our points in the table as our strikers are…
RUBBISH
What did we have before???? DJ Countess and Scott Garlic? WOW!!! We should consider ourselves lucky to have the keepers we have now.
I will mention this one more time… DJ COUNTESS AND SCOTT “TISSUE PAPER” GARLIC. I swear once I saw a ball defy the laws of physics and pass through Scott’s abdomen unabated…
This loss isn’t Rimando’s fault. Also to all you Rimando haters Seitz performed very poorly when he played.
The game against San Jose was lost when we had the jockey of a referee on the pitch. This guy lost control of the game with his very inconsistent calls. Which ultimatley resulted in a player getting frustrated and being sent off.
I agree with all of you. Not. This is not Chris Seitz. I saw the goal. I believe that either of the back up goalies would have stopped it. If you believe that Seitz is too slow and has performed poorly, trade him and improve the team. By the by Dunseth has said multiple times that Seitz should be traded. If you love Nick…trade Seitz and we will see who is right.
So how long til we get an annoucement about the Yura thing…?
What yura thing?
nvm. just saw that. well… hopefully he learns something and comes back a better player.
