Primaries
It’s early November which means it’s time for an annual MLS activity… and, no, we’re not talking Playoffs. We’re talking Goal of the Year voting!
As usual, each of the 32 Sierra Mist Goal of the Week winners, as well as a small selection of non-winners, is up for the initial vote. After a week of voting there, they break out the top 10 for the final vote, before announcing the winner on November 18. With only a pair of Goal of the Week winners this season (Clint Mathis in Week 6 and Robbie Findley in Week 32) our representation is a bit low this year. But, on the bright side, that will allow us to concentrate our efforts.
Head on over here to cast your votes for your favorite goal and let’s push an RSL player to the top like we did Will Johnson last year…
UPDATE: Well, they’ve now also got Save of the Year voting up and our own Nick Rimando has a nominee in the mix. Nicky’s PK save on Dallas’ Jeff Cunningham (we would argue not just his best, but also his most important save of the year) in our 4-2 Week 19 victory at Rio Tinto Stadium.
The drill is the same as Goal of the Year, so head on over here to get Nick in the top 10…

Don’t forget to vote for Nick Rimando in the save of the year category as well.
go RSL!!!!!
Any one notice how many of these GOY nominees were against us. Either our defense is bad or we just bring the best out of the rest of the league.
Vote for Clint’s goal! Let’s keep him in the lead!
VOTE…VOTE…VOTE PEOPLE !!!
Go RSL ………..

It did look like we had a lot on us but I think that is because we just notice when RSL are in the highlights. I think HOU, LA, and CO all had just as much as we did and those were some of the best teams.
