good work, I can’t make it but I expect to see a healthy RSL representation there.
Is JetBlue gonna offer some kind of airfare deal?
Of course, after they charged me $30 each after taxes when I ordered yesterday.
Seems to be some confusion as I was told (and charged) 109 for four tickets and 28 for each additional. He said you had to have at least a group of 15 to get the $15 tickets. When I got home I saw this post and called Mike who says you dont need a group of 15 to get that price and said he would talk to Eddie and call me back, which has not happened yet. So..I guess make sure you call Mike!
I wish I could pull this off, but I hope a lot of people can represent. Go RSL.
JetBlue does not have a direct flight to Chicago so it would have to be through Cali or New York. So no bus or even an old van is going to the Windy City?
Wish I had the money to go up there, but anything that requires a plane ticket is too expensive for me. Hopefully we’ll see some good representation.
A bus would not be a bad idea at all for us, the RSL faithful.
I wish I could be there, but I will be watching proudly at Sean Kelly’s here in Missoula! GLORY GLORY RSL!!!

Represent RSL well those that travel. Win this one, and I will be in Seattle…
I called for tickets for the game in Seattle, and the game is SOLD OUT. All they have left are a handful of single seats spread around the stadium.
three11stu I thought that they have to save two sections for the fans of the two teams playing in the MLS Cup. Thats how it worked anyways when I went to the Cup in Dallas that LA won a few years ago. FO…can you please clarify before everyone panics?
Has Seattle opened up the upper decks yet? I know that tickets to the final were including in season ticket packages, so it’s not a shock that the lower bowl would be full already.
three11stu: they have to keep sections available for fans of the visiting teams. these wont be sold until they are aware of which two teams will be travelling to seattle.
We have to get pass Chicago first people.
They probably hold those two sections for the teams, and they open up when it is known who is playing. So yes they are probably “sold out” right now, but they probably aren’t.
the ECF was almost sold out as of yesterday afternoon when i got my tickets, it might be by now. section134 is already full, hopefully that means it is full of RSL supporters.
Stop talking about Seattle. They still have to get there…
Hey if you are travelling to Chicago to attend the match it seems that RSL has appointed Julie Harper as the point of contact. You can reach her via email at juliana64@gmail.com if you have any questions
A little inspiration for the match tomorrow, and hoepfully a song we can sing @ the RioT next season, and at seattle this next weekend…
Behold! A royal army,
With banner, sword, and shield,
Is marching forth to conquer
On the RioT’s great battlefield.
Its ranks are filled with soldiers,
United, bold, and strong,
Who follow their Commander
And sing their joyful song: (chorus)
[Chorus]
Victory, victory,
Thru they that redeemed us!
Victory, victory,
Thru RSL, our team!
Victory, victory, victory,
Thru RSL, our team!
2. And now the foe advancing,
That valiant host assails,
And yet they never falter;
Their courage never fails.
Their Leader calls, “Be faithful”
They pass the word along;
They see his signal flashing
And shout their joyful song: (chorus)
(this could be our “you’ll never walk alone” at the end of games…)
3. Oh, when the war is ended,
When strife and conflicts cease,
When all are safely gathered
Within the vale of peace,
Before the RioT’s army,
That vast and mighty throng
Shall praise our name forever,
And this shall be their song: (chorus)
(yes, that is a church hymn, pg. 251)
