When everyone at Real Salt Lake stressed that the MLS Cup belonged to the State of Utah we weren’t kidding … and now we’re backing that statement up by taking the Philip F. Anschutz Trophy to each and every one of Utah’s 29 counties in the month of February during the “Championship Cup Tour.”  Leo the Lion and some intrepid travelers from the RSL staff will escort the MLS Cup from St. George to Logan and every point in between beginning next Monday, Feb. 1, allowing fans across the Beehive State a chance to get up-close-and-personal with the prize for last November’s title run.

During the trip, the MLS Cup will make visits to several iconic Utah locations, with Delicate Arch near Moab, the Utah Territorial Statehouse (original capital of Utah) in Fillmore and Olympic Park outside Park City among the dozens of locales the spiffy, tour-theme-wrapped VW Routan will be stopping by.
