Join in our Red Rally
Just a couple of days ago, RSL held a press conference in which several players, Head Coach Jason Kreis, and GM Garth Lagerwey addressed the crowd. It was Garth’s speech specifically that got everyone going. He gave everyone a sense of the magnitude and special nature of RSL’s current run. He finished his address with a call to all of you to join RSL in a “Red Rally” at Saturday’s showdown with the Red Bulls. Let’s heed his request and fill Rio Tinto with a sea of red. Grab all the RSL gear you’ve got, throw it on and get on out there…

I think the seats still available shows the flawed price scheme. All rows of the center sections should not be full price. Maybe the lower 1/2, but not the upper 1/2.
How about Western conference final scarves? That might be more appropriate for a soccer game.
I aree with Sveven the prices should change, fill the place! The more the merrier! But I bought tickets anyway, but I have been going since RSL started, a different price plan could entice new fans to come check it out.
I noticed during the game last night that Columbus fans had MLS Cup Playoffs Scarves in Black and Yellow. It would have been really cool to get something like that for RSL.
Tickets are selling well, but why would you drop the price for a playoff game?
Playoff matches in every other sport are expensive, the deal they offered season ticket holders is rocking.

I was very dissapointed in my experience two weeks ago at Rio Tinto.
The North side made me want to puke my guts out.
It is now that I don’t give a %&^%*.
I want every northsider-sit on your hands-”I’ve never been to a soccer game before, but a Utah team is in the playoffs” fan to be there. I want the east filled. I want the west brimming with excitement. I need the south to be the loudest it has ever been.
This is OUR time fans. This is OUR day. November 15, 2008 will be a time when fans of a Utah team can relish in victory.
Western Conference Finals???? No.
The MLS Cup is what is at stake. Our fans recognize this. Our fans’ blood is boiling three to five days before the event is slated to take place.
TFC thinks they have the best fans in the league.
Their fans show up. Their fans throw streamers.
What they don’t have is the “Argentinian Artisan” (Javi), Nick the “Brick” (Wall Rimando), and Yura the Cure-a Movsisian.
But their fans are sitting at home with nothing to do but ask: “What MLS team is going to advance from the Western Conference Finals, eh?”
It is ours for the taking.
If we stand up and unite as fans, take no prisoners, and defend our team as we have done for four years through the toughest of circumstances, we WILL prevail!!!
The sorrow, the tears, the identity will be justified. Our pledge will ring loudest.
We are the Salt Lake. The Re-al, Re-al Salt Lake.
Garth has said it best. But let’s make sure he says it LAST.
