Finishing Touches
After a spectacular four games out here at Rio Tinto Stadium last year, a lot of us seem to forget that this Stadium’s still a work in progress. We walked outside today to see a group of workers putting up some new signage on our scoreboard. If you haven’t driven by (or just didn’t notice) they threw up a pretty slick Real Salt Lake over the top of the board a couple of weeks ago and today they were putting a Rio Tinto logo on the side of the board.
It may not seem like a big deal, but these are the types of little details that will only make the Stadium seem more polished. As great as the experience was last year, we look forward to it being even better this year, starting April 2 vs Columbus…

Looks great, So when will the webcam work again???
How about a scoreboard and clock on the south side so that us northsiders don’t have to turn our back to the action to see replays, time remaining, etc., etc.?
How about a scoreboard, or at the least a time clock, over the south goal??? It’s a bit annoying to be sitting in the north goal sections and have to turn around (and away from the action) to see how much time is left.

One more request for scoreboard/clock in the south side
Hear hear! A scoreboard – even a small basic one – for the south side! Logos should be second in line to actual functionality/ ease give the fans break!
The best solution would be to use one of the LED panels on both the east and west sides to show the score and time. Even the big board doesn’t always display the time and score, so using a solution on the already existing side LED’s seems like it would be a great solution.
I agree with the scoreboard thing for sure!!!! South side needs time clock and score. Even something small would work!
DSG has a small scoreboard on the opposite side of their stadium from the jumbo-tron. Are we going to let them be better than us – at anything?!
Even though I sit on the east side, I’d also like to throw in my vote for a scoreboard on the south side!
I will also give a vote for a south side scoreboard.
agree with denz. its simple. its functional. there is no out of pocket cost buying a new board. besides that, we don’t want a duplicate of the north end board…WE WANT A DEDICATED TIME CLOCK/SCOREBOARD, NOT SOME STUPID IMAGE ON THE MAIN BOARD THAT DISAPPEARS FOR ADS!!!

Ditto on the south end scoreboard/time clock. Any word on the stadium webcam? It would be nice if it worked again.

Love the new signs it just makes the stadium and team more offical
wow people are picky, yes it would be nice to have a scoreboard on the south side, but if we are all paying attention to the match in the first place it wouldnt matter. The one above Section 26 is great, who cares if its not a dedicated board. Leave it as it is, it works and looks great.
