… is what you’ll be hearing come September 5 right here in Sandy as Rio Tinto Stadium is set to host the U.S. Men’s National Team in their 2010 World Cup Qualifying clash with El Salvador. The event will mark the second major soccer event of the summer at Rio Tinto Stadium — following the July 29 MLS All-Star Game — and the U.S. National Team’s first visit to the crown jewel of American mid-size sports and entertainment venues.

This is going to be a spectacular game and one you won’t want to miss. On that topic, it’s not too early to start thinking about your tickets. The best way to ensure your seat is to be a Real Salt Lake season ticket holder, as they will receive an exclusive window to purchase their seats for the match. If you’re not a season ticket holder already, what are you waiting for? Give our office a shout at 801.727.2700 and one of our excellent ticketing associates can get you lined up.

For anyone who was at the last World Cup Qualifier in Salt Lake, you know that the passion and atmosphere is unlike any other event you’ll find. We are certainly excited, it should be a great event and Sandy will provide a perfect stop on the road to South Africa 2010.

P.S. The hexagonal round of qualifying for the U.S. kicks off tomorrow night in Columbus as the Americans play host to arch-rival Mexico at 5:00 p.m. MT. The match will be televised live on ESPN2 and ESPN2HD. Tune in, it should be a good one…
